Aloha,

My name is Rod Ruggiero.  I am a classically trained musician who has taken up Ukulele making.  These wonderful instruments are fun and easy to play! 

The instruments I make are fine musical instruments, made from solid wood and have beautiful tonal qualities, and good looks.  They are constructed by me here in Hawaii using the Spanish method - the soundboard is attached to the neck, and the sides are inserted into slots in the neck.  This is the traditional technique used on Classical Spanish guitars.  The result is a strong, responsive instrument.
